SilverPaw followed and crushed the rose in his hand. “Guess we’ll see each other in generations to come, huh?” and with that, they shifted into their wolf forms and ran into the night, leaving the other three.
“How will we know who’s a descendant from them?” BrownClaw asked.
“They’ll have black or silver coats, or even a mix of both. But the obvious sign is easy,” WhiteSoul began. “They’ll have a silver paw on the left front leg.”

They killed them.

Every black and silver coated one of them.

But none had a silver paw.

Except for two, whom were nothing like their descendants. But when something rises from its thousand year slumber, everything they have ever known will be tested to the limit. And it all leads to the answers they've been questioning for so long, but also something else:

War.

Against the ones they love.

And against themselves.

I ask knowing I'm testing his patience but he is obviously boss here and I want answers. "My pack." He answers "your injuries?" I dont know how to answer that so I turn away from him. I dont know what hurt me only the marks it left. "Answer ME!" His words make me stiffen and I feel my hands reach for the bottom of my shirt. I slide it off and turn to the man. A stand there chest exposed. I'm boney from lack of food and bruised from my foster father and brother. Amid all the fresh brusing three white lines stand out stretching from my shoulder to my hip. "This is what they were healing!" I yell trying not to cry. I remember the pain of the marks when they were fresh. Feeling embarrassed I put my shirt back on. "Rouges." The man whispers. "Those bruses." Ruby says from behind me. "The "Love" of my "family."" I tell her. "My turn." I say and the man turns back to me as he was facing the other adults. He raises his eyebrow and I take it as permission to continue. "What are rouges?" "Packless werewolves." He says. My jaw drops. werewolves? WEREWOLVES!? What the? "They are just a story." I say. "Who's out there?" One of the men yelled. Of course only silence met them. I remained quiet and waited for the group to start moving again. "Maybe it was just an animal." Someone whispered. The person, who I assumed was the captain of the small squad, signaled for them to walk again. They clearly showed fear as they kept going; brandishing their weapons to guard themselves with. "Two are holding lanterns. I'll tell you when you're too close to them." I heard my friend whisper in my ear. I followed the men as I picked up another branch and waited for the right time to break it. They continued to walk through the forest, turning their heads in every direction as if an animal might lunge at them and rip their throats out. I guess in a way I was going to do that. "Go back a few feet." My friend whispered. I carefully distanced myself from the group and waited. "Where is she?" I quickly snapped the stick as soon as he finished asking the question. They stopped and two soldiers raised their lanterns to shine its light in the darkness. I quickly hid behind a tree before both of them turned where I was. A low frustrated growl came from one of the men, "The girl's playing with us. She's out here following our every move." How paranoia can cloud the mind. At nine years old, Silver decided to leave her village for the forest. Since then, she's been hunted; everyday is a fight for her life, every breath she takes could be her last, but she's determined to stay alive. Her life isn't the kind anyone would want to live but she's managed to survive this long so, what's a few more years?

Once upon a time, a beautiful baby was born. She was the daughter of the most powerful and respected Alpha there was on the country. There was a prophecy of this baby, apart from being the heir of the pack; she was also the one wolf that would united two packs, to create a kingdom, to be just like before. She was going to become the Queen of all werewolves, and her mate, was going to be the King. They knew that she was the one, because of the mark on her left shoulder, a small red wolf paw, it looked like a mole, but everyone in the werewolf world knew what it meant. Her reddish hair, framed her beautiful white face, making her green eyes pop out more. She was the perfect gift from the Moon Goddess, and both the Alpha and the Luna knew it, and that was the reason as to why they held a party for when she was born. Everyone from the pack was due to spend a whole week celebrating the birth of the new heir. There was going to be no job, the only ones working would be the patrols, but then everyone was free to celebrate. Most people thought that because of that the tragedy came, other differ, saying that it wasn't their fault, like who was going to think someone was every going to try to wrong the most feared pack, the Red Moon Pack. "Alpha!" The warrior shouted through both the link and his voice. "Alpha!" "What?" Alpha frowned. "What's wrong Mark?" "The baby." He exhaled. "The guards around the room and the hallway are all dead-" "Where is the baby?" The Alpha whispered calling his wife. "Gone." The guard replied. "The baby is gone, and I can't find her scent."

BOOK 1 OF THE BIG BAD WOLF SERIES: "R-Roman, stop," He lingers on each kiss, teasing me with his tongue. Sparks erupt. "You make me so damn angry," He says huskily, fanning his warm breath on my neck, making another shiver course through me. He places a kiss right below my ear, and I visibly shudder. He notices. He starts attacking the spot with his lips, and I bite my lip hard trying hard to not let the moan escape me. I involuntarily close my eyes. Everywhere he touches me sparks erupt. He starts sucking on the spot. "R-Roman, pl-please, st-top," I push lightly on his chest, but he doesn't even flinch. I didn't want this to happen, not when he was just being a total asshole 2 seconds ago. "Roman," I practically moan out his name. He starts gently biting me, and I melt into him. I put my hands on his shoulders and push him again, slightly harder this time, but as he keeps attacking my neck, I feel as though all the energy has been drained from me. "You're mine," he says huskily in between kisses. I self consciously nod. "Only mine-" He starts kissing and sucking my jaw, and I refrain from letting out a moan. "And you'll never talk to Dimitri or any of the warriors again." I open my eyes wide at his comment, and I push him back with all my strength. *** They said the Big Wolf was bad... They said no one could tame him... That his heart was made of ice... That he couldn't love anyone and no one could love him. His pack was ruthless... Killed without a second thought. They said Little Red was Human.... They said she was shy and quiet.... They said her innocence was like no other... That she was pack less. Helped without a thought... At least... That's what they say... Let me tell you the real story... *** WARNING: THIS BOOK HAS STRONG LANGUAGE, SEXUAL THEMES, ABUSE, VIOLENCE, KIDNAPPING, DEATH AND HARASSMENT. "We did not create this world, but we did create those creatures. Together we gave birth to a race of beings as close to the gods as you or I. A race that is being murdered and enslaved, our children. Generations upon generations will be wiped out" When the race beings created to defend and protect the earth were rewarded with enslavement and death by the very ones they were charged protecting, their creators whisked them away to protect them. In a new world all their own the creators left them but two rules to obey, the first was that they forgave the humans for their crimes against the species. The last, more a warning than a request. "Always remember that the rulers of this land and the land itself are one and the same. If you live for the light this place shall prosper, if you allow darkness to reside within your heart, darkness resides in this place. You shall find yourself right back where you started"
