{Complete!} It has been three months since the Ceremonial Duel, but to Yuugi it felt like years. The love of his life was gone from his life and all Yuugi had to remember his Yami were the memories and the feelings of unrequited love left unspoken in his heart. Strange dreams have been plaguing him as of late, each one about crimson eyes and an ancient civilization that Yuugi knows all too well. Taken away from his life on the streets, Yugi is given a chance to work for the Pharaoh Atem in the pyramids. But what happens when Atem takes on a liking to his younger look-a-like? Will life suddenly become harder once Yugi becomes lovers with the pharaoh? (A/N @undeadEnder was the editor for this story, without her it would full of errors so I appreciate how she helped me.) Written with @Jecille_Demeter Summary, Yugi and his friends and college professor are traveling cross-country for a college project of some kind. In Domino City, they keep hearing reports of missing people. They get lost and stop at a shop where they are told to get help from a nice family that live outside of town. Along the way they encounter a bloody, battered person coming from the direction the are going and they keep repeating that they should turn around and all their friends are dead before spacing out. They get to the house and meet one hell of a close-knit family who own a popular bakery with some killer ingredients. And they want a select few of the group to join the family.

Three years pass while Yugi is in more pain, only then his friends ask more about what is going on. Yugi won't tell them anything about it, but what happens when a familiar face returns.
