"Even though I love the staring, I'm not going anywhere aibou." Yugi is depressed because of Atem's leaving his world. Yugi knows that he is in a better place, but never had a chance to tell Atem about his true feelings for him. "I really can't thank you enough for staying by my side when everything happened, even when I pushed you guys away." Yugi discovers his heart disease, but wont be able to collect enough money for his treatment. He doesn't tell his friends about his condition, hoping they don't find out or ask about it. "I'm glad that both of you are happy together. Just know if you need anything from me, never hesitate to ask." Three years pass while Yugi is in more pain, only then his friends ask more about what is going on. Yugi won't tell them anything about it, but what happens when a familiar face returns. In Ancient Egypt, the young pharaoh Atem is becoming of age to have a wife and soon eventually an heir to help to rule Egypt, but everyone wants him to marry a princess of royal blood. He wants to marry for love and someone who he can trust. There's someone who he trusts and is in love with, but there's a problem. She's a lower class than he is.

{Complete!} It has been three months since the Ceremonial Duel, but to Yuugi it felt like years. The love of his life was gone from his life and all Yuugi had to remember his Yami were the memories and the feelings of unrequited love left unspoken in his heart. Strange dreams have been plaguing him as of late, each one about crimson eyes and an ancient civilization that Yuugi knows all too well. After an accident leaves Yuugi hospitalized these dreams quickly begin to grow more real. Almost as if they were memories. What does it mean? Warning: Will involve Blind/Puzzleshipping and Egyptianshipping (Or, rather, AtemuxHeba. Whichever works for you.) Don't like, you don't have to read. - AtemuxHeba CENTERED! Post Dark Side of Dimensions. It has been a year since the end of the ceremonial duel and two months after the duel with Aigami, the gang is fully getting their lives back on track. Seto Kaiba finds a way to reach Pharoah Atem and wants one last duel. The Gods want Atem to be their peer and be god among the gods, however, as Atem ascends to godlike status in the afterlife he is not entirely satisfied without a certain person in his life. Will Atem find happiness as a god? Can Atem be able to reunite with Yugi and declare his love.

(This will be a Au). It started with dreams about him protecting a girl from something and later formed s friendship. She called him a name, Atem but was that his real name he didn't know because he couldn't remember anything from his past. He believed his dreams where memories of his past and when the girl from the dreams shows up in Domino, things take an interesting turn. (Yami/ Atem x Oc).

Atem isn't happy, why did he agree to his uncle's idea? And why a Hellenes of all people!? After the decade long war, why would his uncle think an alliance with them would be a good idea? Taking place in a "What-If-Yugi-Lost-The-Final-Duel" time line, we find Yugi Mutou, Atem, and the rest of the gang with a new mission ahead of them: Helping Atem adjust to life in his own body rather than a trapped spirit. Now that Atem is in this world for the long haul, he finds himself struggling to cope with accepting parts of his past may truly be lost. Things could be worse, though...he could be Reika Haijime, a new and yet oddly familiar girl who seems to suffer a strange case of Short Term Memory Disorder, and an even stranger piece of jewelry. Atem is pretty confident fate had meant for him to find her, and likewise, Atem seems to be a face Reika can remember. Only time will tell if that alone will be enough to combat the upcoming challenges approaching from the horizon. Love, loss, and found again, come along as the sands of time reveal the tale of Reika.

Taken away from his life on the streets, Yugi is given a chance to work for the Pharaoh Atem in the pyramids. But what happens when Atem takes on a liking to his younger look-a-like? Will life suddenly become harder once Yugi becomes lovers with the pharaoh? (A/N @undeadEnder was the editor for this story, without her it would full of errors so I appreciate how she helped me.)
