When Caleb and his family move into the house they inherited, he learns that his extra finger is not only a family trait, but an indication of his magical abilities. As he contends with the school bully, he also struggles to find the magic inside himself. After a few run-ins, with creepy Principal Havers, Caleb learns that a coven of witches sent the principal to recover an ancient magical gauntlet stolen centuries ago. Everything hinges on Halloween night. If Principal Havers can get the glove, he’ll take it to the evil master who sent him, but if Caleb can keep ahold of it until his thirteenth birthday the next day, the Magia Ladrὸn will claim Caleb. The fate of the world rests in the eleven-fingered hands of one magical twelve-year-old.

This is a story I started writing three years ago, back when I was a sixth-grader whose brain was rotting in quarantine. I unfortunately never finished it. I didn't even get to the climax. Y'know how a lot of people cringe at their old works because of how silly or stupid their plot/writing style was? Three years later, as a ninth-grader, I didn't experience the same. The story had potential, so I decided to rewrite it in my newer style, and depending on motivation, I might actually finish it.
