Imagine if the world was predominately gay. Christians believe that it's sinful to be straight. Two people of the opposite sex cannot marry in most states. Heterophobia is a real problem. This is a book of one shots about hate. Most of these are actual conversations, I, or someone I know, actually took part in, with the words 'gay' and 'straight' switched with eachother. Some pertain to other groups in the LGBTQ+ community.

He doesn't want to accept who he is. They are scared of what he might be. When judging him on his journey to find himself, he only finds angst and pain, but maybe a bit of love and passion. Accepting yourself is one of the hardest things in life, being who you are should never hold you back from living life to the fullest. People who don't accept you for you, they are no people. This is a story of love and hate Sometimes the hate can come from your own family as well as outsiders. Let me start by introducing myself,I'm X that's short for Xavier Thomas I'm the son of Jackson and Brooklyn Thomas,my mom died having me. My father reminded me of that every day of my life,that my mother gave her life to have me. I always felt father wishes I had died instead of her,I grew up afraid of my father,so that was one reason why I got straight A's in school. See father said if nothing else I was going to college and be a man. My father new of my sexuality,he hated gays and everything they stood for,he even went as far as to hiring me a companion to make sure I never had anything to do with the same sex,at least as far as being sexual with them. My father has plenty of money, and will send me away to stop me from being who I really am. Stay with me as I go through my life's journey to be free of him, and be with my one true love. I'm not Gay, I'm Homosexual
The word gay has been synonymous of liberation, fight, human rights, homosexuality, lesbianism, etc but it has become synonymous of excess, abuse of freedom, hatred, self-loathing as well among men and women who feel the emotional and physical desire to be with somebody of their own sex. I do not wish to diminish in any way the important role of the gay liberation movement, the point I'm making is a reflection on how this generous and initially noble action has been tinted by fanatism and dogmatism. One that nobody seems to want to talk about because accusations of homophobia or hatred may be used against. We may not hit each other but the power of words has been used constantly against each other diminishing, offending and alienating us. Words can hit stronger than a fist and we have become very good at it. These series of essays do not intend to own the true but certainly aim to offer another way of seeing things among us with the respect, tolerance, and love that we deserve and can give as humans.Complete

This is a story about people, rather you're black, white, yellow, brown we're all just people, gay, straight or whatever you choose to be in this life, we all have one thing in common, we all love, maybe not the same but we love. We hurt just the same, that picture perfect life is a fantasy, there's nothing perfect some people put on a facade, and for those who live in the truth are much happier. Some people are together for love, and others to get what they can rather it's financial or just a roof over their heads you'll find that most of them live very unhappy lives. They didn't have any freedom to love a person from opposite sex. If they do love someone from opposite sex, they were considered as sinners and sent to the mental asylum. Couple, after marriage, could sign a contract with the donor of sperms/eggs for a child. In the same universe, a boy, who already have a boyfriend, had fall in love with a girl. He committed the biggest sin of this universe. On the other hand, that girl also liked him, but afraid to admit. On one fine day, they both open up about their feelings. Eighteen year old Jasper Williams hides his feelings for the same sex from his friends and family, he likes girls but there's something about the same sex that makes him want to be with a guy. Jasper ends up experimenting with a friend of the same sex, and now knows what he wants Jasper goes online and chats with a man of twenty eight years old, it just starts off chatting and sharing pictures, after three months they decide to meet in a park. Jasper knows it will be safe meeting his chat friend there, and his other friend goes with him, they meet and talk mostly about what they already talked about online, now the chat guy decides to give Jasper his cell number and told him they can talk off line. Jasper tells him its fine only he has to call him his folks wouldn't understand he tells him that's fine. After that day Jasper met his chat friend in the park every Saturday, this time he asks Jasper to come to his place, Jasper agrees and they've been meeting there ever sense, no sex just talking and watching movies. One day Jasper asked his chat friend why hasn't he ever asked him for sex, he tells him because one gets to know one before rushing into something like that. And that's the night Jasper had his first real sexual encounter with the same sex. This went on until Jasper found out his on and off girlfriend is pregnant, and his chat friend tells him he has to choose his lifestyle.
