Event Requiem, and hell and heaven become one. An explosion in Africa alerts the american government. In response they send one of their best agents from the most secretive part of their government. However, in his investigation he finds out about a betrayal in his organization which makes him enlist less savory company from a mad house rebel named kiss.
Also alerted by this event is a private weapon's industrialist and a particle physicist who meet a mysterious but wise old man. All their paths are tied to one event. One event that produces a life unlike any ever in existence. A combination of humanity and the artificial that leads to paths that borders the divine.

It was a normal day for Y/N.. until you agree to help run a test that scientist are trying to do. They tell you that it's a new teleporting device. If it is successful, then this will change how people travel forever. You decide to be the first person to use it... However, it went horribly wrong. You pass out and wake up in a large neon city filled with strange humanoid creatures that appear to be animals... As if that wasn't bad enough.. You have to figure out where you are, and how to get back home.. but that won't be easy when people find out a new species just arrived in the city. I don't own any of the art used in the story. A nuclear explosion wipes out a small town in Indiana, which either kills, or rewrites the cells of anyone caught in it's range. Some people weren't able to handle it's affects, others have been changed. Everyone who survived was given a supernatural ability. Hallie Osborn was affected by the explosion, and was one of the few people her age who survived, and is taken into a hospital of sorts for people like her. Finn doesn't remember anything outside of the hospital, the first thing he could remember was the chemical tank. He's not sure why he's put in there so often, but isn't allowed to ask many questions. He's eventually introduced to the rest of the gifted, he explains to Hallie his time in isolation, not understanding how important he's become. The doctors and therapists are keeping many things from the gifted, and with the help of Finn, Hallie's going to figure out what.

BOOK 2 After chaos destroyed, America fell into pandemonium and there was no communication with the U.S. After a pandemic crisis on the East coast, most civilization was abandoned near the Atlantic Ocean. After that, the world slowly began to fall to pieces and almost every country made a scramble to figure a way to make space travel easier so they could colonize a planet. But a new leader came out of the ashes and proclaimed they would consider the apocalypse a "rebirth" and proceeded (with his advanced engineering) to clear radioactivity from America and make it livable again. With the help of his crew, he builds a high security city and begins to build out past the east coast. Shortly after he rebuilds NY, he disappears and his advisor rises to power. He is a fair but cruel master (calling himself a Lord) and some people refuse to work for him. These people manage to escape the oppression of the Lord and live out on the wasteland that was once a great country. Some band together to make right communities and others rough it out by themselves, scavenging for a living.

You handled it like a champ. What you are is a strong, brave being that has stood by my side." I breathe as he leans closer. "What you are, is the love of my life...."

The first chapter of this book began with a young boy named Cosmos in a family of six, whereby he was coming of age into a man. He has always had the feeling of being out of place in the world, or perhaps it is the world which is out of place. He has always been a Genius, which is both a blessing and a curse. This boy has an imaginary friend which he nicknamed Morningstar. He is very picky with his choice of friends, it is not easy finding someone who can match his complex mind. One could say it is because he sees the best and the worst in people. The storyline took a different route after he got abducted by a dreaded terrorist sect during his NYSC program in Borno State, Nigeria (a program for Nigerian citizens, after they graduate from an higher institution). A lot began to unfold afterwards, he soon discovered that he is just the tip of the iceberg in an entire world filled with principal actors. Time soon made the readers understand that there are a lot of higher forces at play in this novel; humans with godlike technologies and powers out of this world. Everything about them is designed to kill, so it's only a matter of time. Even if I have to do it on my own, I will find my way back to the ship that brought us here and leave this planet. Tarvik Getting called into an emergency meeting isn't how I would choose to spend the afternoon, but as Commander, I'm obligated to attend. Small beings landed on our planet, and per my king's orders- We're keeping them. My people are excited to have new pet types- cute ones at that- but I suspect they're capable of more than my king believes.
