My fingers going through your hair, watching you fall asleep. Your legs behind mine. Your arm laying on top of me. Hearing you breathe. Taking my hands into yours, trying to warm them up without me asking for it. From kissing your left cheek to kissing your right cheek. Kissing your forehead to kissing the tip of your nose. Smiling in between until I reach your lips.
Maybe we can have what our fathers never had the courage to build. Maybe we can close those unhealed wounds. Maybe we can love each other like they never did.
