My mind told me to run, but I couldn't bring myself to run as I watched the man in the funny clothes rip my father apart with his gloved hands, I screamed when the man look at my wrist and I realised he was looking at my moonstone bracelet.

There was a pool of dried blood outside on the ground near the front door. I knew it was blood, because of the stench that filled my nose and it's still a little damp, it smell metallic and it was almost like I could taste in the air, I thought it was unpleasant and I knew it was littered with blood.
