Human Nature Forbidden Island
Chase Horse, a seven-year-old boy from the mountainous region of Yunnan-Guizhou, undergoes a series of bizarre experiences and is trained to become a cold-blooded mercenary assassin. After numerous life-and-death trials, he eventually ends up in a poor and muddy small town.
To forget his bloody past and evade pursuers, he hides his history of being a specially trained killing machine, indulging in the days of taverns and women in the town. To cover his expenses, he must go to the Crozet Islands every year to engage in fur and dried fruit trade.
During one of these voyages, he kills several villains to rescue a Japanese woman tied up in the ship's hold. Outnumbered, he is forced to jump ship and escape with his sixteen-year-old fiancée and a destitute little girl, landing on a deserted island.
Their fate changes drastically! Crocodiles, giant bears, pythons, and more creatures never seen before, including ghost monkeys evolved in isolation, become their new reality. He spends nights thinking of ways to set traps and hunt beasts. The Japanese woman constantly motivates him with desires. The two little girls also take risks alongside him. On this foreign island, they overcome dangers and hardships, striving to build a courtyard for survival.
One stormy night, a mysterious large ship appears on the island's shore. However, the ship's arrival brings not luck but a greater crisis for survival. To prevent the women around him from suffering further, he reverts to his nature as a killing machine, running through forests and swamps, on the edge of life and death, yearning to change their fate and alter the death register. Yet, bizarre and eerie dangers keep emerging, giving them no respite...
The wheel of fate turns incessantly. Whether they live or die, whether they can push the limits of human nature to the extreme and elevate the power of justice and love to the highest level, will be revealed by each reader as they uncover the veil of this mysterious legend..
