After the death of her mother and the disappearence of her father, Adelaide is left in the hands of Ascot, a physician. Adelaide promises herself that no matter what she will find her father and avenge her mothers death. Hiding her desire to find her family, she lives happily in the Kingdom of Dai. However, news of a rising darkness, growing in an abandoned castle of a once evil King reaches the ears of the King of Dai. When entire towns start disappearing, the King sets out to uncover the matter.
While going through some records, Adelaide makes some chilling discoveries about her family, sending her into a world of danger, adventure, and even love.
