Alyssa Stone is an ordinary girl, or so she thought. When she turned 16 strange things started happening, first the nightmares that would leave her screaming in the middle of the night and then things would catch on fire when she became angry. Her mother thought this is a cry for help, with all the trouble she's been making her mother makes her an appointment with a therapist. She then sends Alyssa to a boarding school for troubled teens when in reality it's a special school for the supernatural, to help and teach them to control their powers and blend in society. There Alyssa will make new friends, new enemies and maybe a new love. But even though she's in a school for the supernatural she's more unique than the rest, and some may feel threatened by her.
