A middle-aged woman with a dog was looking at me; I could see the worry in her eyes. “Come with me dear, we have to get you to the hospital” she said. My eyes grew wide with horror. I couldn’t go there, he would kill me if I said anything to anybody about this. So I did the only thing my body felt natural. I fled. I didn’t know where I was going, my vision blurred by the tears. I could hear her scream after me, but I was not able to make any sense of what se was saying. My legs kept going, giving me the feeling I was flying. This is what I loved. I could just keep going forever. Then I saw the light and everything went black. *** Kate Statham seems to have been born under an unlucky star. Not a lot of things have gone her way. One night her fate seams to be sealed, but it changes when she meets five boys. Her life changes completely and she has to learn how to deal with the new life she is standing in front of. But has it all changed for the better or is she never going to get rid of that unlycky star?
