Caelumbestia and Letalisfacultus are two races of the three “races” of the region “The Forgotten Dream”. Bestia and Letalis, meaning Beast and Mortal, describe exactly how they are.
Descendants of the pure blood ancients, Verumbestia, have all of this magic and it is limitless. There is a 1/1,000,000 that a citizen is a Verumbestia. The only known throughout the story is Shiva.
The Bestia and Letalis have been at war for several years, Bestia being the supreme. Even though they have a violent history, the Bestia hang low and often don’t show their powers. This is because they can’t.
Bestia have sudden bursts of rage, which makes their powers activate. Since some Bestia live peaceful lifestyles, they never learn how to control their powers on not just sudden outbursts. But with will power and years of training if they have enough outbursts, they learn to keep it under control. The first outburst that was shown was when Shiva’s mother was falling off the platform, she activated and jumped over the edge to save her and used hover magic to get back to the platform before rubble crushed them. Shiva didn’t know her mother was already dead from severe trauma.
