Years ago when Amercia was on the edge of property. The goverment created a organization to provide and help the benefit of the growing amount of children, to give a provided education and care that there parent, or hopstials couldn't provide. As the years went past the organization slowly become corrupt and lost sight of its goal as America fell. The organization became a horriable place of rumors and terror. The genreal public choice to turn a blind eye, as condition became even worse for the adults and hidden children outside. Until one day, there was a change, a change so drastic that no gun, no pill, no cell, no order could keep it in check. ---------------------------- "Welcome to the Bunk. . ." he stated dryly, staring into his empty cup as if what ever he just drank would magically appear again and make everything better. The happy, clean, bright illusion was ripped away, pulled out from under me like a bunk-mate would steal a extra blanket. Gone.

Book 2 of the Chimera Trilogy He wasn't really looking for it but when love shows up he has to decide whether he'll accept it or not. New connections, old ties, and surprising revelations are ingredients for lasting love or for instructions to a charred heart. Ecerpt: Mike was tall like Alex, slim like him, had the same blue eyes and black hair. I could only conclude that my brain was looking elsewhere for an Alex substitute. That was not flattering to myself or fair to him. It was easier I guess to pick a fight then actually let myself like him. His eyes flipped to mine again. That eyebrow went up and he smirked. Now he was laughing at me. I straightened and turned to lean against the pole with my back to him. Maybe it was time to find a nice girl to date. The trouble was I hadn't been interested in anyone enough to want to go on a date, and I wasn't the kind to do one night stands. My eyes flipped to Alex. He was smiling and laughing at something Tyler was saying. I was happy for him but if I really let it be felt, I was jealous, a little that Tyler got him and I didn't, but I think it was more that they were together and happy and I had no one. I'd finally hit that age I wanted family and children. "Here." A plate appeared in front of me. I looked around and saw Mike holding it out. "What's this?" "That's commonly known as food. You eat it. I've noticed you favor the mushroom soup, stuffing with gravy and corn on the cob. Here you go." I took the plate. Why on earth had he not only noticed what I ate but brought me a plate of it.
