This is a story about 15 year old, Fern Wesley, in a raging battle called life.
Now she's not really your average girl...
But she's stuck in another entirely new battle called high school, where life is all but kind.
Fern struggles through each day dealing with bullies, unfamiliar emotions, family drama, and the fact that she's stuck here in this horrible world, alone.
She had given up all hope of ever really finding one good person, until the day the new girl comes strolling into her classroom, with her punk look in all its glory.
Rain, Ray for short, Coleman, is the new kid in town and having an especially hard time fitting in with these small town kids. As soon as she arrives at school, she's curious about one person in particular. The quiet girl in the back of the room who seems much more interested in spending time alone or with animals than actually human beings, Fern.
These seemingly opposite personalities and styles are drawn together, to maybe help change both their lives for the better. And make things a lot more interesting.

a/n- I'm not a very good writer and my grammar is terrible just an FYI but on a real note I just want to make this book for the enjoyment of others. Fifteen year old Olivia Grace St.Claire is a shy stay to herself kinda girl. She never went to parties never got bad grade also stayed focused she never thought she would ever find live tho. It also didn't help that in her case she was bullied for her appearance. All she wants is to go through the rest of high school and leave of to college in Hawaii. They look after Olivia but there's still so much that goes on at school that they don't know about that involves Olivia but even if they were to find out they wouldn't do anything about it. They loved their baby sister but thought she needed to learn for herself. Dior Ensley Palmer is best friends with the twins If you see one twin then the other twin is around and so is Dior they were never not together ever since 6th grade when Dior moved schools and her first friends were the twins.
