Olivia is an only child who has grown up living with her Aunt following the death of her parents. Although they lived by the beach in Long Island her childhood had been a lonely secluded one. When her Aunt dies suddenly she starts to find out about her mother and father something her aunt has apparently tried very hard to keep hidden.
The truth however is not always what you want it to be and as she struggles to come to terms with her new identity from the information and artifacts her Aunt has left for her, she becomes aware that she is being watched. The problem is that her life has now been sent along a path very different to the one she had planned for herself growing up. While trying to understand not only the fact that she has a gift but also discover what that gift might be, she gets a visitor from another world who promises to help her but can she trust this person or anyone else for that matter.
