At age thirteen, those dreams crushed her and she stopped eating and started cutting. At age sixteen, she was barely visible to the world. She was neglected, abused and raped everyday by her stepfather. With scars all around and no food in her stomach, she was ready to give up. Until, one boy changed her life completely. He showed her that life can be happy, even if you're not what most people want.

TW- this story contains SH, addiction, SA, suicide etc. this was the first book i had ever written and it is not edited yet but will be, there will be changes to chapters in the future. A 15 year old girl is being bullied and abused, her life is a living hell. to ease the pain she slices her arms in hopes that it would help, alas it had only made it worse. as the weight of the world became heavier upon her shoulders, her thoughts tell her she is no good. Then one day she cuts to deep that sends her to the hospital, where a nurse takes her in. She soon finds love, hardship & gets pregnant then she is finally happy. But is she really here... This is the story of an abused teenage girl, Maddie. Her need to die has become overwhelming and she is trying to find a way to help herself before she does something she may regret. The story is told from her point of view as she recalls all that has happened to her. Maybe telling her story will help her, maybe not. This isn't just any other sob story. This is more realistic. You may even find yourself comparing your life to Maddie's while reading this story. Disclosure: I wrote this as a 13-year-old and the writing is definitely not up to my current standards, but I feel as though changing what I have already written would take away from the emotion I put into this story at 13 years old.
