Crime has always been close to home for us. It's something you become numb to when your father is the sheriff. But, crime comes too close when my neighbor and best friend, Nic's parents are killed in a home invasion. It only gets worse from there. Gang members started wreaking havoc on the town. That is, until someone started getting rid of the gang members. Dad and the other officers at the department are baffled. They're running around like chickens with their heads cut off looking for a killer.
I know exactly who the killer is.
But what kind of person would I be to turn in my own best friend?
