I have brought you something beyond the constraints of my imagination, and I wonder if many are ready for it; however, a good story must be told, and I am fortunate to be the one to tell it. Imagine a world where the vile nature of mankind creeps its ugly head as humanity faces its first and last major catastrophe. The world plunged into everlasting darkness, entrenched in chaos and disorder, where hope is a distant flitting memory. The story I propose to my fellow readers follows Anthony Verdun, who was only a boy when all he knew was taken from him in an instant. Like many others, on that day, those who survived lost a part of themselves, forever scarred by the family, friends, and loved ones they lost. Their lives changed forever; how could it not? In the year 2049 almost everyone in the world is some form of cyborg with the exception of a small group of individuals known as the resistance. A.I. Has been made illegal the only androids are command droids which function under certain rules and are not considered alive. The world is in a state of world peace but also mass chaos, the only things that matter in this future world are sex and money. Their us an elite force formally known as the FBI now known as UFD. The higher levels of the cities are for the wealthy the lower levels are for the poor. Mass chaos and violence run rampant in the lower levels the UFD try to maintain the peace but with so much going things tend to slip through. The Cyber Sword has access to many technologies but their man power is low, they have droids for low level missions but special detectives know as Cyber swords. Most security is privatized. The company known as CT is the for front of cyber innovations with the exception of privately funded military contracts......Complete
The Day We Left Earth
If we stayed there any longer, we would have died. Earth was no longer our home, but instead a barren waste land from which we had to escape. Its calm blue oceans were replaced by big empty pits, and the green grass which used to cover our planet has now died, leaving all ground we tread on brown. The sun was getting too close to earth. It was going to explode soon, meaning we would have to leave. Either that, or die on what we called home. Not everyone left, not everyone was saved, but most of us are here in our new home. Cyberlantis
In the year 2088, there exists a city known as Cyberlantis which is full of beautiful bright lights and incredible technology. One day, Ryan is hanging out after school with his close friends, when a mysterious object falls from the sky, and crash lands nearby. They go to investigate, only to find that the mysterious object is a dark astronaut's that is possessed by an alien lifeform. The helmet then forces itself onto Ryan's head, giving him strange superpowers that are truly out of this world. The group of friends, led by their new alien companion, embark on an exciting journey around the futuristic city of Cyberlantis, making new friends along the way and discovering some of the city's secrets from years passed by. However, throughout their adventure, the five friends cant help but feel that somebody is watching their every move... Originally, I created this book for my graphic art A level course, and since then I have expanded it into a two part series, both featuring hand drawn illustrations by me. The illustrations get much better in quality as the story goes along as my digital drawing skills grew overtime as I wrote the story.Complete
