Luis (OC - borrowed character from a friend *thanks for the permission* - is a doctor and a former Stanford buddy of Sam's. When Luis first met Dean he was sure he didn't like him, that Dean was trouble. But then the Winchester brothers saved him and their other buddies from a vengeful spirit, causing Luis to change his studies from law to medicine.
Years later Luis had Sam in his ER after a run in with a manticore, which gave him some "bonding time" with Dean.
Today, Luis wants to start his vacation when he gets a call from Sam. A ghost hunt ensues...
