Rebecca, or Becca, a thirteen year old, was sent off to Earth from her alien planet, gartrode, when she was a baby to go live with her Aunt Maggy. She doesn't know what happens to her birth parents. She doesn't exactly know that she was shipped off or why she was. You'll have to read to find out!

In order to embark on a mission to discover alien life on the icy moon of Jupiter Maria must leave her life on Earth behind, including her father and her seven-year-old son Diego.
