Valentina and Clary Fray have been inseparable with their mother since birth, they've never had any other family to count on other than each other. Now with their eighteenth birthday they're both getting ready for college and to start they're own lives that is until they stumble upon a certain blonde who turns their worlds upside-down.
Then suddenly her mother is kidnapped after informing them that they're Shadowhunters. With their mother gone Valentina and Clary go on a search to find their mother while learning the way of Shadowhunters. She'll even have to uncover her lost memories would lead her to finding her mother, the mortal cup, and uncover secrets about her father. Maybe even along the way a certain blonde boy will catch her eye.
