The story centres around a 17 year old boy named Drake, nicknamed Dai. He's cynical, inconsiderate and wants nothing more than a regular and boring life.
He discovers a temporary change of heart when he chivalrously saves a child from a speeding car, though dies in the process.
He and a being from another world levitate above Drake's corpse.
"Whether our meeting is coincidence or not, I'm willing to give your life back."
It was the end of Drake's boring life and the start of an adventure that could break him or fix him.
What happens when you throw a cynical boy into a fantasy world?

The Reluctant Hero.
The story is set in Niriyain, an interdimensional prison world where those who enter can never leave. Cal, the son of two prisoners-Suilenroc, a thief, and Akemit, a disgraced nurse-has spent his life resenting the chains of a system that punishes him for the crimes of his parents. Living on the outskirts of society, Cal survives by helping others in need, especially the orphans and outcasts of the outer rim. One day, Cal takes a job to scavenge in the mysterious Unknown Region, an uncharted and dangerous part of Niriyain. There, he and his companions awaken the Unbeknownst, a godlike entity tied to Niriyain itself. The Unbeknownst tests the group, and only Cal passes. As a reward, the entity offers him a wish, but when Cal asks for ultimate power, the Unbeknownst can only partially grant it due to the restrictions of its kind. Instead, it transforms Cal into its herald, granting him the Power of Tri-control over the mind, body, and soul. Now imbued with incredible but dangerous abilities, Cal struggles with his new identity. The power begins to alienate him from those around him, even as he feels the weight of the Unbeknownst's expectations. Story Of Dome
This is a prequel to my other story known as Futuristic world (Furry x human). I HIGHLY recommend reading that story first before this one, otherwise this story will make zero sense at all. Also if you don't really like the first story, then you probably won't care about this one anyways. This story will follow Dome and his backstory before he met Y/N in Futuristic world. This way you can get to know Dome from my original story a little bit more. I do not own any of the art used in this story. credit goes to the original and talented artist. He is a simple protogen with a sense of humor. He's a man with his own flaws, just like everyone else, but he has a weird way of seeing the positive of everything... Well... Not everything. Dome's bestie known as Conner lost his wife and reluctantly started taking therapy after Dome, the good friend that he is, forced him to. Conner makes small improvements overtime... Until one day where the downward spiral for both Conner and Dome begins. Conner loses his last bit of family left.. his daughter.. to a mysterious killer who manages to hide his trace. Conner, now seeking any kind of closure, loses his mind. Finally reaching a breaking point and blaming Dome for everything. Threatening to kill him for what he had done. Dome, despite feeling guilty, doesn't give up hope. He will do what the police couldn't, and find whoever killed the daughter of who used to be his best friend, but is now hunting him all around Night Glow City, and never stopping until Dome is dead.
