Fate brings them together on an adventure to serve their king in Virgil's Keep. Kill Lord Matteus. Sounds simple enough until you add in the mysterious plague killing all the life in the forest, putting Alduin's life in extreme danger. However, the danger doesn't seem so bad with Blue by her side. The kind, Oath of Ancients paladin who always seems to uplift her spirits and give hope. But also sparks an electric attraction both can't deny deep in their bones.
