Haven't you heard the statement, "What Goes Around, Comes Around"? Well, what if you had wings, would you fly or would you stay grounded? Or even worse, would you stay and fight, or would you fly away from your problems? If you were human, would you dream to fly? If you could do magic all day, but have to kill people to continue to do it, would you? If you wanted revenge, would you be happy to do it or just let that crime gnaw at your soul? Welcome to the world of humans, Shape Shifters, angels, sorcerers, elves, sirens, pirates, and war. A lot of war. Many more mystic creatures roam the forest, but are never discovered. There are floating islands that laid untouched, by the human hand, but are devoured by wings.

Two years have passed since Mikael Anik and Estelle Marzena survived the Illyrian Blood Rite and were mated. They've finally settled into their new life together, back in the Dawn Court. However, the peace they've known thus far is almost at an end. For months, Estelle has suffered nightmares of the events that took place on Ramiel, and they are growing worse with each day that her questions remain unanswered. It is time for the mystery to be unraveled, but what will it cost to do so? There is more at stake now than either of them could have imagined. Are they facing an isolated threat, or is it possible that some ancient foe lurks within Prythian's borders, waiting for her chance to strike? Warning: This book, while being a work of fiction, still deals with real elements. There will be chapters dealing with sexual content, rape, abuse, depression, gore, PTSD, and other topics which some might find triggering.
