This man strives to gain condonation during the only chance he is rewarded with to love...Yet,that love had to be forbidden,and god had to be cruel.

Why would such a divine commodity,love...be forbidden? Was it too strong? too rude? too boisterous? Is it because it pricks like a thorn?
