A few months ago, I would've given anything to have a different life - one that involved not living and fighting on the streets, stealing for survival and constantly watching my own back in case somebody plunges a knife into it. But now... Now I'd give anything to have it back. Accalia Daimon is a fugitive, on the run from supernatural forces who blame her for the deaths of over sixteen government officials, who were tasked with keeping their Underworld in order - but now they're dead, murdered by a mysterious shadow entity by the name of Erebus, and the Underworld has dissolved into chaos. Rife with paranoia and suspicion, the Council has sent a Task Force after Accalia and her Werewolf accomplice, Lycaon; which has forced the two of them to turn to the Rogues - a hidden branch of Underworlders who live amongst Mortals, and denounce the arrogant ways of their ancestors - for help. But even the help of a hidden race might not be enough to save Accalia - Erebus is still on the loose, murdering both Mortals and Rogues; the Underworld has sent a Task Force hell-bent on finding Accalia after her, with a very shadowy Underworlder leading them; and now the cops think she's a terrorist as well, accused of blowing up a school and randomly murdering innocents... With a civil war threatening to break out between Mortals and the Rogues, Erebus and the Task Force breathing down her neck and the terrifying realisation that an old enemy of all four Worlds is trying to claw his way back to power, Accalia cannot afford to run away from this fight - now she's not just fighting to win back her dignity, she's fighting to stop a war - Hell, she's fighting to save the world... And the only people who can help her are a Warlock stuck in her head, three extremely irritating gods, and a man made of smoke with brilliant green eyes...

Lykalis has a new obsession: a bewitching man carrying secrets stained in blood. But is he worth less than the safety of her kingdom? Or is he worth more than she could ever imagine? ***** The King and Queen have been murdered and eighteen-year-old Heiress Lykalis Vasoraki is to take her Aunt's title and be crowned in the palace of Kolteo, where people with the wings of crows and ravens dwell. Before her coronation ceremony can ensue, she pursues the killer and finds herself on a grueling path to the Kingdom of Sidiem, a territory of wolves and foxes. There, she bears witness to a brutal death, and a Royal investigation transpires. She teams up with the Heir of Sidiem and finds a list of evidence that consequently leads them to a jewelry company, one which hides something terribly sinister. An alluring man with mismatched eyes catches Lykalis's attention and she finds herself entwined with the fate of a broken man who knows more about killing then he does about living. ***** Excerpt: "Don't lie to me." She sneered, smacking her hand against the floor. "Don't lie-" His eyes snapped to her as anger flashed between them. "You were like starlight, like-like the constellations had fallen together in order to create you, as if you were personally molded by the gods themselves." He pressed. "Your spirit glowed like the only light across a sea of barren land- you. . .you're spirit was the only one that felt like. . ." ***** [ word count: 160,000~170,000 ] [ Book 1 of the Crown of Dahlia Trilogy ]
