Oblivious to the magical world around her 17 year old Chalice is a human living in an abusive household. On the other side of the country, Alpha Orson the newly declared Alpha of the Black Rose Pack has issued a death sentence to a male hunter who killed his chosen mate. Filled with rage and anger he will do anything to kill the hunter and make him pay. However when Orson finds the hunter's weakness he realizes that the hunter's weakness could potentially be his weakness.
