What if Peeta and Katniss never teamed up? What if Katniss finds trust in the most unlikely person? When Katniss volunteers for her sister, her only thought is to make it back to Prim. The capital was extremely mad and so for the 75th hunger games, they have a special surprise. Instead of two tributes getting picked for the reaping, five tributes will be randomly picked, so they could all be guys or all girls. Chlea Glades is picked along with four others and is shipped off to the capital to get ready for the games. Chlea ends up first teaming up with the careers, then with a boy from district 10 named Titus Undersea. Chlea decides she will protect him, no matter what.
