Head down and heart closed, Sophie makes her way through her ordinary life, going to university and being the girl everyone expects her to be. She does her work, and keeps to herself, having learnt that opening up only makes you more vulnerable to being hurt. Apart from her studies and her brother, she has one thing that keeps her going; something that gives her the motivation to go on, even when everything seems to point to the opposite. The Sidemen. So when living in a vibrant city and studying what she loves is somehow no longer enough, an unexpected situation throws everything she thought she knew out of reach and she must decide what she really wants, before it's too late...

So I'm aiming for this to be a long story that I kinda add to when I can, so for those of you who want instant sidemen banter, this won't be the fic for you.
I'm gonna introduce you to the character and her life first, get to know her a bit, before throwing her into the deep end. It will probably seem more realistic that way.
I won't be very fast at uploading this either, I mean, I'm an A-level student, I have to prioritise.. I'll write when I can, probably a chapter at a time.. I write them on my laptop first, so I get spell check properly and stuff, that way I can add little bits when I've got time. Maybe about once a week?
Inspiration for this? I was looking for some sidemen fics to read and noticed there aren't that many decent ones around, so figures I'll write one instead.
