My Cousin Marty

16 parts Complete

I had met her a few times when I was younger. I had never been close to her and until a couple of weeks ago I had completely forgotten about her. After a massive funeral, my mom announced she was going to be staying with us until graduation. There's something about her. The way she speaks, the way she walks, even the way she eats. My parents are smitten by her formalities and highly educated manners. I, on the other hand, am not impressed. There is no way my cousin Marty is the image of perfection everyone thinks she is and I'm going to figure out what she's hiding. SHORT STORY.
