Ria is a Nekeleid: part-cat, part-human, a species both hated and desired by humans. And in the struggle to live among them, or not so much with them, they find their core need of freedom being threatened. She was always the odd one out, along with her brother, but as things spiral out of control, Ria's thrown into a world more lonely than she's ever known

Wild Avalon

39 parts Complete Mature

After coming home to her apartment to find her boyfriend dick deep inside another woman in the bed she had slept beside him just last night. Avalon is devastated, embarrassed and heartbroken. To escape her shattered life, Avalon puts distance between herself and her now ex boyfriend. Taking on her first field research project solo, Avalon runs all the way to Gros Morne National Park. Planning to hike in the wild untamed expansive park for a week to calm her broken heart before moving on to study the Northern caribou migration habits for the summer. A chance to reconnect with her own beast and nature before dedicating herself to putting her Ecology Degrees to good use and figuring out how to build a life that no longer had Aaron in it. Avalon was expecting nature, bugs, and wildlife while running away from her problems. She wasn't expecting anything like what she finds after getting diverted from the trail she planned to hike. Or perhaps, it found her.
