Ever wonder what the white noise on the T.V. is? Or what causes the mysterious internet crashes? Or why sometimes someone calls your phone but all you hear is static? Some people this it's the dead reaching out. Ha! Not even close. It may seem like it, but no, it's not the dead calling from "the beyond". But it is someone calling, someone calling from beyond your world. Someone calling from another dimension. The White Noise dimension, the neglected walls just in between two of the largest dimensions of the universe. Only one inhabitant is marooned in this lost place. Ask her how it feels to not exist and she'll tell you it's a living nightmare. There's more to the White Noise then everyone believes, or at least cares to admit. The static are her screams, her cries for help. The breaks in connection are her attempts at escape. The White Noise is a trap.

I woke up in a metal cell, wearing some kind of black jumpsuit and bulletproof vest. It was strange that I knew the room was metal, or it was a cell, when I couldn't remember my own name. Or where I came from or what I was doing here. The room was tiny. My feet touched the door when I lied down. I stood up and pushed the door. Solid. Locked. It wasn't meant to be opened. I stepped back and analysed the situation. One - if it was not meant to be opened, it had to be opened. Two - I didn't know what was outside. Three - I didn't want to be locked up. The third reason outweighed all the others. Instantly, I knew what to do.
