"Can it ever be the same Evan?" I ask softly, snuggling farther into his chest. My arms tighten around him, not wanting to let go.
He shakes his head no, "Never." A tear rolls down my cheek as he softly pulls himself off of me and looks down at me.
He takes his hand and wipes away my tear, brushing my lips than surprises me by grabbing my cheek. Evan moves his other hand and grabs my waist. "Its gonna be so much better."
And with that his lips were on mine and the fireworks set off in my stomach.

His hands got caught in my hair as he kissed me harder. Our tongues danced together and he shoved me up against the wall. My fingernails scraped down his bare back and he lifted me up to wrap my legs around his waist. He kissed a trail down to my neck and then froze. “You’ve been smoking.” He said pulling away from me. I sighed as he set me down and took a step away from me. “I smoked once today, ok? It’s not that big of a deal.” “Lissa!” Jace shouted at me. “You promised you’d stop! You said you were done with drugs a long time ago.” “I promised a lot of things that I never did!” I screamed back him. He raked his hands through his hair and started pacing. “Drugs aren’t good for you, Lissa. You need to stop.” “You can’t control my life.” I snapped. “I won’t be with you if you’re too high to remember any of it.” “Then maybe I’ll go back with Trey.” **** Lissa finally decides to go back to her families vacation house for the summer. She’d always been treated as ‘one of the boys’ by the other kids who went to the vacation house. The twins were finally eighteen and had convinced all of the parents to let the teenagers spend time at the house for the summer. Trey and Jace, the good lucking twins, haven’t seen Melissa in two years because she’d been skipping the family vacation even though her own twin Ian had tagged along. They remember her as the slightly chubby, underdeveloped, nerdy girl that they treated like a brother; but boy are they in for a surprise when she walks in the door looking completely different. She also has another secret neither of them knows about, how shocked will they be when they find out? With all of their longtime friends, the beach, the sun, and the freedom they’re sure to get into loads of trouble, and fun. But will romance ruin a friendship? This is the sequel to The Cheerleader and The Bad Boy. Although reading that book is not necessary to read this one.

I never thought my life would be like this; trapped in a dark room and scared for my life. A blindfold was wrapped around my head, covering my eyes, making me completely blind and on high alert. My breathing was ragged and I could smell the mold that was most likely covering most of the room. My hands were tied behind my back, my feet tied together and I was sitting on the floor, propped up against a wall. I heard a slight shuffling across the room that was coming closer to me. I tried my hardest to keep my breathing under control to seem confident and fearless, but in reality, I was shitting my pants and squealing like a scared little girl on the inside. To say I was terrified was a drastic understatement. I was petrified, shaking with fear, but they were not going to know that. "Who are you?!" I demanded. If I was going to die, it would be with the name of my kidnapper. A voice boomed closely to me, "Well, if I told you that, this wouldn't be any fun." **************** Skylar James, a 24 year old girl, is kidnapped by a very well known gang who has a vendetta against her family. In an attempt to find light in her situation, she makes friends with one of the members. Logan Grant was forced into the gang at the young age of 16. He was abused until he became emotionless and ruthless, so that one day, he could rule the gang. Everything was going smoothly until Skylar is brought in. With a blindfold wrapped around her head, he instantly feels bad for her, though he cannot show it. Afraid of getting caught, he shows no emotion while others are around. Though, behind closed doors is a whole other story.

Two broken souls in the midst of a crazy world. Two souls running away from their past. There was no light at the end of the tunnel. The tunnel was cracking, slowly closing in. When these two connect, as if they were set on the same path, light creeps in through the cracks, and for or a moment, the tunnel seems to have a way out, but what if it collapses before they make it? - "You saved my life." The words come out as a whisper, I've been dying to say that. I thank god every day that he came into my life when he did. "Fuck Vivian, you don't know how much I needed you." I tear up just a little as he speaks, I don't know the last time I cried happy tears. I bring my hands up to cup his cheeks, resting my forehead against his. "No matter how much I push, I don't mean it. Please don't give up on me." My words seem to relieve him in some way as I feel his shoulders relax. "Even when I'm gone, I'll be by your side, forever." He brings his hand, sticking his pinky out. "pinky promise."I wrap mine around his, placing a kiss on his lips. Warning before you read!! This is my first book! Trying to escape her home life in order to save her little brother, Skylar must decide between keeping secrets or saving herself. With the help of Beckett, her first love, and his family Skylar might be able to break the cycle and stop from becoming everything she hates. Preview: I gritted my teeth when I saw that Beckett was still sitting there. I released Waylin's hand and pulled Beckett up from the chair and across the hall. "What do you want?" I asked harshly, trying not to raise my voice. "Nothing, I just thought you might need somewhere to stay. You said that you didn't have any relatives in the area, and I figured you and Waylin could stay at my house. My parents wouldn't mind." I rolled my eyes and took a deep breath to compose myself. "What makes you think I would want to stay with you? Huh?" I asked. He didn't flinch at my words, but looked sadly down at me. "Please, just put the past aside and do what's right for Waylin." "Don't you dare tell me what is best for Waylin! I've been taking care of him pretty damn well his whole life. You have no right to assume otherwise about my decisions." He put up his hands in surrender and sighed. "Look, I don't know why your mom is in the ICU, I don't know anything, okay? I just know that you're going to need somewhere to stay where there are actual adults because you aren't his guardian, and I don't see any social workers around. So, what? You told them you had a family member coming to get you, right?" I rolled my eyes and he continued. "Right. So, what are you going to do when they send social services to your house?"
