Hanami Hiroshi is a kind and lovable girl that lives in the village of Cantelia. Her father owns a small shop that sells used goods and her mother is severely ill and Hanami spends all of her time to make sure her mother is as fine as she will get. She has no time for girly stuff and boys, she has a 9 year old brother, who just won't quiet down, a sick mother, who can't get out of bed, and a stressed out father trying to provide for is family. You'd think Hanami has enough chores on her hand, but one day she sees her father talking to the general commander of the royal army...about selling her to be Prince Akira concubine! She heard from the other girls that the Prince the most handsome man in the world, and he holds many riches such as rubies and emeralds. Hanami also heard that he is a womanizer and leech. She will NEVER marry a man like that but what choice does she have? Can she escape the wretched palace or will she stay and find out that the Prince Akira isn't as bad as she thought?
