Thus begins an AU, where Pearl and Ame are human, but still fight for humanity, via homicide detectives. Pearl had adopted a child after one case, where the kid, Opal, was beaten to the brink of death by a serial kiler. Pearl had almost beat the man to death bare handed, had the team's leader, Garnet, not pulled her off, for fear that she would be kicked off the team and jailed.
Note: Ame and P live together.
This just kind of hit me while I was sick and I wanted to do it so... I did.

VERY VERY VERY VERY SLOW UPDATES! Many years ago, a gem emerged on the homeworld near the diamond palace. Pink, being the first one to recognize a gem emerging, told the other 3 diamonds about the information. As all four of them watched the new gem merge, it was discovered that the gem was born with two gems instead of one. Instead of shattering the gem, white diamond decided to keep them as they were a rare cut gem with an abnormal two gems instead of one. After the discovery, they decided to name the gem, Y/N. Y/N soon lived underneath the Diamonds and was treated as if she was a diamond herself. After Pink shattered, Y/N was heavily protected and had a harness around her at all times, always around either the diamonds or heavily guarded by two topazes and a jasper. After being allowed to roam around the Gem Warship, she was stopped by Steven who convinced her to help him find his friends and escape. After the explosion, she was founded by The Crystal Gems and was officially their 'hostage'. From being heavily guarded and kept within eyes sight and inside her whole life into being outside and experiencing many different emotions for the first time. This is when her story begins.
