People don't ask for their life to change. It just does. And in the most unexpected ways possible. Natalie's life is totally normal until she gets in a car accident that changes her...forever. She starts hearing voices, meeting people that she somehow trusts immediately and completely, and nearly dying several times. Confusion and mystery rages around her, and the questions remain unanswered. Why do people seem so distant, looking through her rather than at her? Why does she feel so withdrawn, and weak? Who is the man she sees whenever danger passes her way? Why can she feel absolutely no pain when she knows that she should be in agony? And how, if at all, can she escape it?
