  Robin was never adopted by Bruce Wayne. 
  The night of his parent's death, he chases down Tony Zucco and runs away. After spending 4 years roaming from city to city, (unknown by them) meeting the superhero's  proteges and them themselves, he decides to go back to Gotham. 
  Becoming Renegade, he annoys The League and Young Justice, most of all drives Batman crazy. Whenever they try to speak with him, he promptly disappears, unless your Batman. Why Batman? The Dark Knight himself wonders why also, but can anyone ever understand the kid with a lost past, shadowed future, or missing identity. 
  Will Renegade ever find himself?
  He must when he brings his past back to the present, with his possibly new friends in the middle of the crossfire? Or will he hide everything and lose himself deeper into the secrets that even he doesn't understand and hoped to never have? Will he ever escape what he calls his mislead life or will he have to find his only escape?

A legendary vigilante/anti-hero from the Rigby has decided to move to Gotham City and with in a week of his arrival. He has put Gotham's underworld on notice. That there's a new law in Gotham CIty. His. way of doing things are considered too old school to be used. He's dangerous with his dual ivory handled revolvers, Sharpes Buffalo Hunter rifle and his limited edition Henry and Winchester lever action rifles. But he's even more deadly with his fists and feet. But as he cleans up the streets of Gotham his way, he gets the ire of one Dark Knight and Company. Well, maybe everyone of the Bat Family. Except one. Barbara Gordon. Whose been following the gunmans career with great interest. But Dick Grayson, Damian Wayne and Alfred are wondering if there's another reason why she's following his career. Finally one night he was hot on the trail of Rupert Thorne and had him cornered in a high class estate in the hills. The Dark Knight and The Gunslinging Lawdog have their first encounter. But the Batman brought along his long time protege, Batgirl. After a close call with The Dark Knight, the gunslinger runs after giving a good bone breaking kick to Batmas knee. But leaves behind some blood from the fight and a matchbook with his fingerprints all over it. And who should pick up the matchbook and swabbed the small droplet of blood than Batgirl at the behest of Batman. The only trick is he asked for the blood. Not the matchbook. Now there are a few questions that are bound come up, One. Will this new city anti-hero join the Bat Family or will he be on Batman's most wanted list? And Two. Will Barbara Gordon find the mysterious gunman and be able to tell him how she feels and will he reciprocate?
