A girl named Carter has some troubles, she has her best friend to help her out. Although her best friend Rebecca has her troubles too. Carter's father has broken up with her mom and got a stepmom. She likes to think of herself as Cinderella with her evil stepmom. Meanwhile Rebecca has tough times with her father. Toni, Carter's main trouble... Carter doesn't know where she stands with him. He keeps going from girl to girl, but never goes to her. The thing is that he makes her feel like he likes her.
