Phoebe was your average girl in the 1850's. Except she wan't. She was colored. And scared. Her parents were both captured and taken to the slave market. Right before having her speech cut off with a rag, her mother yelled to Phoebe, "RUN! RUN LIKE THE WIND MY LOVE! RUN FAR AWAY FROM HERE! WE'LL SEE YOU SOON!" And that was it. Her voice was muffled and she was dragged away before Phoebe could even react. Phoebe was about to run after them, but then remebered her moms last words and with tears streaming down her face she ran in the other direction. Read Phoebe's story as she journeys to find her paretns... And make it out alive and free. **************************************************************************************************************************************************** -THANKS SO MUCH FOR READING-

This was a story that I had in my works for so long. I posted this story back in 2014 and then in 2015 I had taken it down. Now whenever I went through my library I saw it, I always wondered why I didn't just get rid of it, but then I remembered that this was one of my first works and instead of deleting it, I should post it again, so I have one of my first still up here. So here you guys go. I really hope you enjoy it, though you may cringe majority of the time. //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Tara's on the run and there no turning back.
