Six months old and freezing from the snow storm, she is left on the porch of a house. Just an innocent baby girl wrapped in a single pink blanket, left on the door step with nothing but a note that reads only four simple words: Her name is Mistletoe. Mistletoe's life seems blessed as the family of the house raises her with love and kindness. For seventeen years she feels as though she is the luckiest girl alive, being showered in laughter and the happiest of memories. But on that seventeenth year when mistakes arise, her unbelievable heaven soon becomes an inescapable hell. It is on Christmas Eve that Mistletoe's life soon becomes a race to the finish line. One treacherous event follows another, but will she let that stop her from reaching the end? Her heart is tested and her sole is pushed. She faces not only physical barriers but emotional ones too. Will the unexpected meeting of a boy that tickles her heart with unknown sparks of feelings, help her through the journey or only add to her pain? When she realises it is not only a race but a test of her heart and soul, will she let the horror of her past, self-doubt, and incessant need to blame keep her from proving she is worthy? Or will she learn to forgive and understand sometimes a mistake is just that, a mistake. She must pass every test to make it to the finish line and if proven worthy the angel who has been watching might just lend her a miracle. Will she receive her miracle or will she receive the inexplicable punishment for her hatred and blame and watch those who love her, follow the angel to heaven. Victoria Jones aka Mrs. Grinch hates Winter and the holiday season. Her brother asked her to come to their hometown to meet his fiancée, the same town which she never visited after graduating. On her way, an unexpected series of events happen to her and her dog, Mini. She meets her first love after nine years and the feelings she had for him blossom again. Daniel Moore, the total opposite of Victoria loves Christmas and challenges Victoria that he can change her heart. Will Victoria be able to fight her feelings or fall for the same guy again? Can Daniel change her heart and bring her holiday spirit back? *~*~*~*~* "If you would let me, I can bring that holiday spirit inside you back." He offered. I frowned and look at him. "What do you mean by that?" "Spend this Christmas with me and you'll see." He smiled. Spend an entire Christmas? With him? Hell yeah! "Sure, I'd love to." His grin widened. "But I can't guarantee that it'll work." I grinned. "Challenge accepted." He smirked. We stayed like that, looking at each other with stupid smiles on our faces when unexpectedly it felt hot. Did Mini open a heater or something? He gazed into my eyes. Suddenly my mouth became dry and I unconsciously licked my lips, which made him look at them. I gulped. His eyes stayed there and I saw his Adam's apple bobbed. He leaned in, making my breath hitch. My heart throbbed so fast that it might explode any second. I looked at his lips; they look so soft, pink, and yummy. He continued leaning his eyes darted between my eyes and lips. When our noses touched, my eyes automatically closed, and I felt his breath on my lips. Is this happening? Are we going to kiss? My dream of marrying him will come true? *~*~*Winterfest 2020*~*~* HIGHEST RANKINGS: #1 in Miracles in December [Words count: 20,000 - 25,000]
