When Florence Delacroix, chief of the IEB disappears one beautiful morning, her colleagues and neighbors are scared. Especially as a dangerous criminal announced the capture of an IEB officer.
Florence, on the other hand, makes a shocking discovery. In the hands of her capturers, she has to stay alive while saving the lives of her colleagues and trying to win back the most important person she had ever lost.
Her friends are fighting for her, but will their help be enough?

The Captain had a conference with his Sr. Officers to discuss sending her back home. In the middle of the meeting Arian, the alien spoke up. She told the crew that her planet was in danger by a dangerous foe, the Regits. These aliens were to not be messed with since Arians people were a peaceful alien race they didn't believe in fighting. The Captain had stationed Baker and Arian to coordinate everything and get a team assembled to try and free Arian's people. In the middle of this discuss Sr. Officer Katherine Bird spoke up and told the Captain that the Regits are a known enemy to her species the Drapoel. That they were not a race to take lightly. In the not-so-distant future evolved humans emerged. Those who had powers that broke conventional laws of physics, chemistry, and biology were dubbed E.H.s (evolved humans); it was wondrous for a time. Of course if there was power to be used there would be those who misuse. To that end the evolved humans police department was formed to deal with all crime committed by or connected to E.H.s, a force entirely comprised of E.H.s trained to stop and capture any E.H. breaking the law. Adlet Blacksteel is the newest edition to the E.H.P.D., his skills and experience as a hostage extractor makes him an invaluable edition. Joined by his new partner, Jenna Jones, he pursues a secretive manhunt for the Soldiers Of The New World, an underground E.H. crime organization that has a hand in all that is illegal, and their mysterious leader: String, who, seemingly, has eyes and ears everywhere. They sick up for each other and do fun things together. He loves his dad and doesn't see the wrong in most things. One day Caleb tells Ella that Bradley and him are going on a trip with their dad and that she should go. She said yes, of course. Little did she know, what started out the shooting lessons in the middle of the woods would turn into their worst nightmare.
