Danielle is different! Danielle is my one and only true friend! I need her, and I can't let her go because she's my friend!

Those sentences kept shouting in Justin's mind, like mentally shouting to everyone who was apparently hate their friendship. Friends, girls, jocks, everyone bullied her and it made him want to tear his hair out the first time he had heard that fact.

No one seemed to understand the strength of friendship that Justin and Danielle had built for more than 14 years. How much Justin put the efforts to keep it alive with a condition like that, it was just so hard for him -- also for Danielle herself. She knew she wasn't popular, she knew she wasn't pretty enough to hang with a handsome guy like her best friend, Justin Clyder.

But what happened if the one who bullied her the most, turned out to be the one who put lights in her life? The one who always made fun of her the most, was actually going to be the one who helped her through it all? And why did he want to do that?
