"I had a dream yesterday i saw you..." i paused looking around to see if there is someone eavesdropping.
"jess you were dead, i saw your dead body ."
i whispered to her my eyes wide with terror. Jess let out a booming laughter making everyone in the cafe glance our way.
"oh Bethy you are so funny. I cant die remember? I am a vampire, a true blood."she replied looking amused.
"the only way i can die is if i am decapitated. So chill girl i will be fine." she concluded with a little laugh. A tear danced down my checks. I sobbed escaped my lips if only she knew.
"listen to me Jess, you need to believe me. I saw him he killed you. Actually reaped you to pieces because you won't let him take me." i explained to her. She swallowed hard. I saw fear in her eyes.
"in case anything happens you have to let him take me please!" i begged her. She began shaking her head tears brimming in her eyes.
"promise me jess" i said cupped her face in my hands. She gave me a nod. I gave her a weak smile.

"I told you before, my dad left it to me, I swear." I said truthfully. She looked at me for a few seconds, thinking. I couldn't shake the feeling that everything about her was cold. "Well, even if you don't know anything, she'll come for you. And I will have the answers I want." She said with indifference before adding huskily in my ear. "And... I think we can have some fun together while you stay. Don't you agree?" She said as she laughed again and gave me her signature smile. "Shit" I swore holding my nose, it seemed broken and the effect of our collision drew some blood.
