Reaped

Life was as close to perfect as Venia could ever hope for it to be. She had a devoted husband who loved her and all her quirks, and two beautiful children that were her pride and joy. She faced everyday, without a care in the world and only looked to the present. In fact, she'd always tell me, "What's the use of dreaming of the future if you can't enjoy what's happening today?" Even though she barely knew him, she married Mark despite everyone's protests that it was too hasty.
