The two countried stayed separate from each other for more than 40 years, and grew apart with completely identities, each afraid of the other. The two worlds are so different, and their people reflect their relationship. 
Edward is an orphan making his way in Nameris, and Kora a wounded girl in Irsdek. 
What do their stories have in common? What could possibly bring them to understand each other?
