"Just watch the stars," she sighed. "And the moon." He wished he could but, it was difficult to look at anything but her face. Those beautiful eyes. And that damn dimple on her right cheek! He forced himself to look away, afraid of what might happen if he didn't. So he did gaze at the stars. And the moon. And he felt it, the jolt of electricity when she held his hand and leaned into him.
Love is complicated, especially when more than two people are involved. History, phobias and unwanted feelings can cause riots in the hearts of the most unbelieving of people. Maybe love does conquer all, maybe it doesn't but, in the end, you gotta leave it to the universe.
