Eugene at age five witnessed the death of his parents on the day of the Armageddon. Light that turned the people to dust surrounded the globe striking the unlucky and leaving black shadows where they once stood. However the unlucky did not disperse into the void willingly. Taking form as shadows and consuming the souls of the remaining people that weren't struck and changing from shadow to the nameless. His parents were taken in this fashion before his very eyes. Cast into what he has called the suburbs. Now twelve years later he must survive the wrath of the nameless and avoid the shadows in the Abyss at all costs.

Growing up Izuku Midoriya always wanted to be a hero. He was already off to a great start when his quirk manifested. His parents' quirks combined and he was able to completely control fire. He called his quirk Pyrokinesis. Everything was going great. He had a loving mother and father who both supported his dream. The only thing he wanted was to be a hero, until one fateful day. He was taken in by a Yakuza group and worked as motorcycle mechanic by day and at night he was doing whatever it took to find out who killed his parents. The only thing that seemed to stand in his was a ginger hair girl who was dead set on being a hero who happened to wander into the shop with her dad one day. Keeping up the facade of an average high schooler is tough when you're taking on any job that will get you info on the person who robbed you of a happy family. Now he lives under the hospital with his trusty cat Buckwheat, hiding from the daylight and wondering why him, out of all the infected, has to "live" with the curse of sanity after his demise.
