Shadow in The Void

Eugene at age five witnessed the death of his parents on the day of the Armageddon. Light that turned the people to dust surrounded the globe striking the unlucky and leaving black shadows where they once stood. However the unlucky did not disperse into the void willingly. Taking form as shadows and consuming the souls of the remaining people that weren't struck and changing from shadow to the nameless. His parents were taken in this fashion before his very eyes. Cast into what he has called the suburbs. Now twelve years later he must survive the wrath of the nameless and avoid the shadows in the Abyss at all costs.
