Famous actor Dan Howell was never really able to hold up a relationship. It was an endless stream of meaningless people. He always felt like there was something, or someone, missing. He always felt alone. Until one day, he meets small-town boy Phil in a small boutique in the outskirts of L.A. On the outside, Phil is quiet and reserved, yet Dan is bright and smiley. They hit it off but Dan is scared to become too attached. He's afraid that Phil will just turn into another meaningless person, compensating for that empty feeling but not actually filling it.
Is it true what they say, that opposites attract? Or does Dan just have his head in the clouds?
