Kiara never knew she was going to meet the love of her life in the middle of nowhere. She lives in a cabin in the woods, just behind the small city in Ludlow, Maine.

Her Mom's boss's family are coming over for what is supposed to be a simple dinner for her. Instead she finds that they have a son a year older than her named Ethan, an archer in training. Kiara is surprised how close the boy lives-- she used to think she was the only sixteen-year-old in the small city. She immediately starts to befriend the archer, and soon they become best friends.

But will they both stay friends? Maybe something bigger?
