However, her position didn't remain stable for long. She was unexpectedly transferred to a different facility-one shrouded in secrecy. The moment she set foot inside, an unsettling sense of familiarity washed over her. Standing before her was a figure from her past. . . . . Harley Sawyer. . . . . . "You're trembling," he murmured, his lips barely grazing my skin. "Tell me, my nurse... is it fear, or something else?" I swallowed hard, my hands pressing against his chest, but he didn't let me go. His grip was firm yet controlled, like a predator toying with its prey. "Doctor, let go," I said, though my voice wavered, lacking the authority I wanted it to have.
